Torchwood: Harm's Way

Three-part short story by Trevor Baxendale in issues 8-10 of Torchwood Magazine.

The alien creature in this story is very horrifying to read in print. The damages that the creature does to the city of Cardiff is very well depicted.
The story takes place sometime after Rhys knows about Torchwood in Meat and before his wedding to Gwen in Something Borrowed so this story displays very well the exact nature about their relationship with Rhys being very concern about the danger that Gwen encounters with her work on Torchwood. The scene when Rhys calls Gwen (much to her embarassment) to check up on her was definitely a case in point for Rhys' concern.
