I remember reading that article, it had a great movie-style poster in the middle of the magazine, however it's tilted across 2 pages and therefore unable to be scanned.
From the sounds of it, the Doctor Who writers of the day disliked Tom Baker's involvement in their work, and it's a shame, as this sounded like it could've been one of the really great Doctor Who stories.
And yes, unfortunately with The Satan Pit and The Family Of Blood, this storyline has (sort of) been used. Oh well, maybe in a few years when Robert Carlyle takes over as the 11th Doctor, Doctor Who Meets Scratchman can be told the way Tom Baker intended. |
