Kyle XY makes its debut on Australian TV on FOX8 on Thursday August 28 7:30pm.

Sort of reminds me of the short lived series John Doe. |

Pilot:
The beginning is like that of John Doe - a naked man waking up with no memory of who he is. The title character is even referred to by that name before he gets the name Kyle. It is because of the similarity with John Doe is why I decided to watch Kyle XY.
Spotted a clue with the news report of a girl being found at a beach.
Just who is that guy played by Nicholas Lea?
This has been an intriguing start to the series and I look forward to more. |

Sleepless In Seattle:
Season 1, Episode 2.
Oh what an apt title for this episode as it is about trying to get Kyle to sleep.
It was an interesting but also somewhat uncomfortable viewing seeing Nicole and Stephen attempt to make Kyle tired.
Josh speculating that Kyle might be an alien felt grating. Also did not like the fridge scene at the beginning. |

The Lies That Bind:
Season 1, Episode 3.
A very good lesson for Kyle to learn about lies - when to tell them and when not to tell them.
What a shock on what Nicole discovers at the end. |

Blame It On The Rain:
Season 1, Episode 6.
Good storyline involving Kyle and friends being in the house during the rain and out of all days it had to be on Lori's birthday!
Pretty good. |

| had a very ghost/murder story feel. I want Kyle to get with his girlfriend but as soon as he does the show won't be good anymore. |

Overheard:
Season 1, Episode 9.
If you are not a Sarah Jane Adventures virgin you would have noticed that Kyle has a similarity with that of Luke from SJA.
Funnily enough in Overheard guest-starred Sarah-Jane Redmond and that's her name in real-life unlike the fictional Sarah Jane Smith.
Overheard is episode 9 and penultimate episode of season 1 of Kyle XY and funnily enough it has a similarity with episode 9 and penultimate episode of season 1 of SJA, The Lost Boy Part 1. People who have seen both episodes would know what it is.
Overheard was originally broadcast on August 21 2006 more than a year before the SJA episode on November 12 2007.
As for Overheard itself things are sure looking very interesting as we near the end of season 1. |

This show is two things. It's the young boy discovering all the pros and cons of teenage life- like the wonder years. And it's the story of superman growing up and discovering his powers..... and his dark past. Being a teenager and having already seen superman and being satisfied with my own musings of Kyle's past, I don't really enjoy the exploring past episodes when I know how good the teenage bit is done in othjer eps. I missed the first ep and the one where he draws the picture for his girl was the one that got me hooked. I hope they either finish with one series or he fully discovers his past in an ep or two and it becomes another lame teenager show.
But that's just me. |

The Prophet:
Season 2, Episode 1.
Pretty opening to this season.
Love it seeing Kyle coming back home to the Tragers.
The episode intriguing ends with the girl from the lab. |

| I thought I was going to get my wish there for a minute. I thought it would be perfect. But they buggered it up. The lab was destroyed, the mystery unveiled, Kyle had a happy ending and all was well. They EVEN had Kylie XX to leave you wanting more. but that's the thing with americans, they never leave you wanting more, they exploit the viewers over and over until you hate the show more than anything in the world and wish it had never even existed and curse all those times you 'thought' you enjoyed. There's no room in the world for another episode of Kyle XY. Leave it as a perfect piece of art and just once not make it into a corporate hole. |
