Okay, I'm sure this has been queried to death, but I cannot immediately find threads regarding SJS and Torchwood showing on free to air, so here goes:

When is the the Sarah-Jane Smith series going to show on free to air? I have seen nothing in advertising about it and, being more aimed at kids than DW or TW the latter obviously NOT for children), I'd have thought the ABC would have jumped at airing it!

As for TW series 2, what's happening with that? It's been on SciFi on Foxtel, but for those of us without pay TV, that's of little comfort.

Still haven't heard anything definite about Sarah Jane Adventures.

Torchwood season 2 looks like it is going to be shown on 10 HD rather than on the main channel.

By the way Torchwood has been shown on UKTV not Sci Fi.

Although I have seen all the episodes of both spin-offs so far, I would have like for all the Sarah Jane episodes up to this point and Torchwood season 2 to have been shown before the 2008 season of Doctor Who currently on ABC1. That way we would have seen all the episodes from the all the shows in their original transmission order (well almost).

A spokesperson for 10 has said that Torchwood season 2 will be shown but not when and in a bit of hope for non-HD viewers the spokesperson said that it is not a done deal for it to go straight to 10 HD:
