I agree, a great story ...the next remaining 4 will have to be something special assuming that this is still a 13 episodes show?!

Davros, you can tell us. Is there a guest appearance in the wind?

Excellent conclusion to the story that began with Silence In The Library.
Felt bizarre seeing the reality that Donna got to be in.
Most shocking moment was when Miss Evangelista's face was revealed.
What a revelation about the Girl.
Very sad when River died but please that she is not dead completely.

Vashtu (or Vastu) is Sanskrit for house. So there's some kind of 'house' and 'text' or 'knowledge' feeling coming from similar sounding Sanskrit words, which makes 'library' in my mind.

My nine-year old studies Sanskrit and told me that Vashtu - or the equivalent, which is halfway between "vaSHtu" and "vaStu" in pronunciation - is not really "house" per se, but is pretty close, so well done on picking that up! I mean, even *I* picked up that 'Vashtu Nerada' sounds Sanskrit-ish!

We liked the episode.

Another great episode. Really got my heart pumping! Very abstract though. For most of it I felt like I was staring at a Salvador Dali painting.

I'm probably the only one here who thinks this, but I just couldn't stand River Song. Well, I could stand her, but only when she wasn't hinting about her future (or past) with the Doctor and acting all mysterious and annoying. I did love the revelation that she knew his name, but at the same time hated that she knew it. She seems just like another Reinette to me, and we all know how much I love Reinette...

Very interesting about CAL (I totally knew it was the girl, but still...) and to find that Dr Moon wasn't really a bad guy.

So sad about Donna's husband Crying or Very sad

Lux complained that the Doctor and River were arguing like a married couple. Question is did he inadvertantly revealed this future between them?
River said that the Doctor told her that history cannot be rewritten not one line. This is exactly what the First Doctor told Barbara in The Aztecs.
A bit sad that Donna narrowly missed seeing Lee.
The Doctor snaps his fingers to open the TARDIS. Did River inadvertantly create this little paradox by mentioning this method of opening the TARDIS.

Confidential Cutdown: River Runs Deep:
Good interview with Alex Kingston.
Interesting overview of Donna's life in cyberspace.

Donna will probably get to see Lee again....otherwise why would the scriptwriters have put him in there at the end? You can't cough on a drama production without it meaning something, so a glimpse of Lee might mean his and Donna's paths will cross again at some point.

This probably means nothing, but remember in Planet of the Ood when the Ood said, "Your song must end soon"? Could he have been referring to River Song, perhaps?

oooooo......interesting thought! (My son's watching that episode right now, actually, so I'll keep an ear open for that statement.)

I must admit, I was waiting for some twist, some element not obvious to us from the first half, which would cast a different light on things, and it didn't come.

I agree, there was really no development of the 1st half of the story.

Also, what was with the Vashda Nereda (or whatever) threat that just suddently dissapered... I thought it was a bit of a copout...

Well that was pretty damn good. The only thing I really didn't like about it was I figured it all out. Maybe I've been watching DW too long, I don't know. Other little quibbles were how the eaten people got into the matrix, why the doctor couldn't handle a human matrix but was fine with the timelord matrix and a little girl could deal with this apparently super matrix, who turned out the lights got repetitive, I hate species which live on every planet ever but can't build space ships and things.
I'm glad noone kissed anyone.

I loved this episode and I have a theroy. River Song is the Doctors Daughter! But that would be very weird and would explain nothing, so that's gone down the drain.
