The best crime show ever (until Wire in the Blood, to be fair). I don't want to spoil the plot for anyone who hasn't seen Series Two, so I'll just say that Robert Carlyle's character killing Eccleston's is surely the justification for him being the next Doctor. Oh, and this is another series that Eccleston is only in one season for.
One thing always makes me laugh about this show actually - the fact that Geoff Tipps from The League of Gentlemen is so obviously influenced from DS Beck in Cracker. |

It is unlikely that I will be watching this as I will be watching Scrubs on 7 instead.
Looks like seeing Chris in Heroes would have to do for now. |

Yes i remember when the ABC showed Cracker 2-years ago,
& the episode where Chris 'Dies, The ABC where showing the episode's of the WHO Classic-series Approximately in between "The Masque of Mandragora" & "The Hand Of Fear". |

Really? Incredible. Weren't they showing the Eccleston New Series vaguely around that time too, or are my memories completely and utterly false?
I've noticed that Chris never seems to hang around for very long in anything he's in. I don't know if it's do with typecasting, or to do with his angry Trekkie Northern parents (as witnessed on Dead Ringers). |
